PEPERINO STONE
Peperino Objects.
The first collection is carved in peperino, the volcanic stone characteristic of Tuscia and the Agro Falisco. Its forms draw from the proportions and presence of Etruscan and Faliscan vessels without reproducing historical objects.
The collection translates vessel archetypes into solid stone: objects for storage, food and the table whose weight, texture and permanence become part of their function.
Vignale
Lidded vessel
A compact lidded vessel carved from local peperino. Its rounded body, fitted lid and central knob reinterpret the proportions of small Etruscan and Faliscan containers as a contemporary object. Vignale is conceived for dragées and other small foods or objects, bringing the weight and tactile character of volcanic stone to an intimate scale.

Faliscus
Vessel with cork closure
A larger vessel with a rounded body, articulated neck and cork closure. Its proportions draw from Faliscan and Etruscan pottery, translated into the mass and texture of local peperino. Designed to hold roasted hazelnuts from Tuscia, Faliscus connects a permanent object with the agricultural landscape from which its contents originate.

Amerina
Bottle holder
Named for the Via Amerina, the ancient route crossing the Agro Falisco, Amerina is carved from solid peperino to hold a 500 ml olive oil bottle. Its reduced cylindrical form treats bottle and stone as a single composition. The object remains on the table or in the kitchen as bottles are replaced over time.

Lucus
Incense burner
Inspired by Etruscan ritual objects seen at the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia in Rome, Lucus reinterprets the form of a ceremonial container as a contemporary incense burner. Carved in peperino, the object is composed of a rounded base and removable domed cover. When closed, it reads as a compact sculptural form; when opened, the interior reveals the incense holder and ash chamber within.

Trottola
Bowl
Trottola is a large sculptural bowl in peperino, developed from an earlier tilted bowl design and reinterpreted by Cardenio Petrucci at a more substantial scale. Its inclined form creates a sense of balance and movement, while the thick walls and volcanic stone give the object greater mass and permanence.
Designed as a functional centerpiece or fruit bowl, Trottola combines a simple circular geometry with a deliberately off-axis posture.

Pills

Originally produced for DbyCP in raw porcelain
Originally conceived as a family of three lidded vessels, Pills is being studied for a possible reissue in stone. The new material would preserve the reduced geometry of the original while giving the objects greater weight and permanence.
