Casale Petrucci

A family house in Tuscia, since 1900.

Dating to 1900, Casale Petrucci is a family farmhouse in Corchiano, Tuscia, north of Rome. The farmhouse and its land have been cared for across generations, with cultivation and olive harvests shaping its daily life for more than 125 years.

The house and the land

Casale grew out of the agricultural life of the property. Olive trees and hazelnut groves connect the house to land the family has tended for generations.

Through Officine Petrucci, Cardenio is bringing his work in objects, food and design into this family setting.

1900 — THE FAMILY CELLAR

The cantina

The cantina was carved by hand in 1900 by Cardenio’s great great grandfather, Francesco, to support the agricultural life of the estate.

It survives as a direct record of that work: a space shaped by hand, belonging to the same family history as the house and its land. Its renewal forms part of the continuing life of Casale.

OBJECTS · FOOD · FURNITURE

The work in use

Casale brings together Officine Petrucci objects and food products with furniture designed by MC+, the studio founded by Cardenio Petrucci and Mattia Biagi.

The pieces form part of daily life in the house: furniture to sit on, vessels to serve from, olive oil to share at the table. Spending time here allows guests to experience their materials, proportions and flavors through use.

Around the table

Casale welcomes encounters between clients, artists, designers, collaborators and friends. Meals and conversations connect the work of Officine Petrucci with the people who collect it, contribute to it and help it develop.

A PERSONAL INVITATION

By invitation

Access to Casale is limited and arranged personally. Selected guests are invited to spend time in the house and experience the work within its everyday setting.

Visits and stays follow an existing relationship with Officine Petrucci or an invitation to develop something together.
